Hello, I had an exposure abt 12years ago. I recently took 9 tests and all were negative. Should I go for a blood draw too? Can I trust the oraquck tests even tho it was 12 years since my last exposure?

You don't have hiv. You've tested negative. This was 12 years ago. Please get help for your anxiety that you still suffer for all this time over nothing.

You're right and I am seeking help. I just have extreme anxiety when it comes to HIV. I waisted alot of money and sofor some reason my brain will not allow me to believe the results.

ok, you had a risk back then but you wasted a lot of years worrying instead of testing. It is abnormal to test more than once, so see a therapist.

I'm currently seeing one. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to HIV hence the reason why I took soo many tests. I thought since it's been so many years that the test may not pick up the antibodies.

There's no such thing as waiting too long to pick up antibodies. If you had had untreated, undetected HIV for 12 years, you wouldn't be writing to us on a forum - you would be extremely ill by now and hospitalized more than once for AIDS-related issues.

This is my last question I promise. Could taking over the counter vitamins and 10,000 mcg biotin affect the at home saliva test? Google is really messing with my mind right now. Everytime I tell myself I'm good then here comes something else that could infere with the testing results

Disregard my question above. My labs came back from my doctors office, and it's non reactive! Thank you eveyone for helping me through this! I really appreciate it

So true! Google will have you believing you're dying. Smh. Thank God my labs came back non reactive. Such a HUGE relief off my shoulders. Now I can breathe again and move on!!!
