Please Assess my risk

Hello, im a 21 year old male who lives in louisville kentucky. About 5-6 weeks ago i had unprotected sex with a stripper who is severly addicted to pain killers. I know that she sees alot of men and is probably having sex with men for drugs on occassion. Since my possible exposure i have experienced a sore on the roof of my mouth, very stiff neck, sore muscles, conjested nose and ears, upset stomach, sore throat, and even a few night sweats. On the other hand i have checked my temperature multiple times and have not had a fever. I am seriously freaking the heck out. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i feel i am letting my worries consume me and it is begining to affect my everyday life at home and at work. Thank you

Before you are freaked out even more by that, do bear in mind that the majority of sex workers in your country do not have HIV. Whilst what you did was extremely reckless, and put you at potential risk, the odds are still in your favour with regards the number of people with HIV and the chance of acquiring it per exposure even if she was infected. Don't go jumping off any bridges just yet, just get tested asap (and that includes for other STDs), as advised above.

symptoms dont diagnose hiv.

you can test now for a good indication of your status.  follow up at 3 months post exposure for a conclusive result.
