HIV transmission through pre-ejaculatory fluids

Dear Doc, my question is like this. 15 years ago, when I was 13. I played games to mimic adult life with my male classmates who was also 13 years old. During the game, my glans penis is contacted with his glans penis. His semen is not out, and we do not have intercourse, but his pre-ejaculatory fluids is possibly contacted with my glans penis or even my urethral orifice. So, I worry that if he is HIV positive, I would be infected. Thanks a lot for your appreciation!

You really need to let go of what happened 15 YEARS ago! You never had an "exposure," so the duration is not a factor.

HIV can only be contracted INSDIE the human body, either anally, vaginally or intravenously.

The three ways you can contract HIV:

1) UNPROTECTED INSERTIVE ANAL/VAGINAL SEX WITH HIV+ PARTNER

2) SHARING IV DRUG WORKS (NEEDLES) WITH AN HIV+ PERSON

3) HIV+ WOMAN TO HER UNBORN CHILD

Hi Ruby,

Thanks for your reply. Your info makes me brave. The more details are that I dont have any HIV symptoms during the 15 years. And, the duration of exposure between two glans penis is about 15-20 seconds with several slight hits. Another question is whether the urethral orifice can defend against the HIV? Is the composition of urethral orifice the mucous membrane?

You have absolutely NOTHING to worry about concerning this youthful experimentation. I'm pretty sure neither you nor your friend were out having unprotected insertive anal/vaginal sex at that age.

And just for the sake of argument, if your friend was somehow HIV+ you would have become very sick over the last 15 years. In fact, without treatment, you wouldn't even be here.

Please let this worry go. You never had a risk. You do NOT have HIV
