Question for Nursegirl please?

Hi Nursegirl,

Just wanted to ask you. I was staying with my ex girlfriends house with her mother and father too and had my own bedroom I slept in on my own for 45 nights. I am worried that maybe while I was sleeping that her or her family or maybe someone might have broken in or while everyone was out or someone could have come in as there were times I was asleep in the house on my own and not sure if they locked the doors when they all went out. So was worried that while I was asleep my ex girlfriend or her mother or father or maybe one of their friends or visitors or someone else or someone may have broken in or come into the house if it wasn't locked and stabbed me with a Syringe with a needle in it or something else similar or got blood into one of my mucus membranes or some cuts I had on my hands and infected me with HIV while I was sleeping either by accident or deliberately or perhaps one time that I fell asleep next to my girlfriend on her bed she might have stabbed with me a Syringe with a needle in it or with something similar or got blood into one of my mucus membranes or some cuts I had on my hands either on purpose or by accident . I do suffer from OCD/Paranoia as you can probably see. I don't remember ever waking up in pain like I had been stabbed or remember any blood on me? I don't know for certain if any of those people had HIV or not?

SO my questions are

1) Was I at risk of HIV from what I describe?
2) Do I need to test for HIV from what I describe?

No, you did not have a risk, and no, you do not need testing.

Wow! You are worrying needlessly. Take a deep breath. I'm not nursegirl obviously but I'm sure she would tell you to relax and get some help with the OCD. If you already are then keep up with it. Its still got a hold of you. No one would do that intentionally to hurt you. And if some sick person did, you would know it. Try to put this out of your mind.
