Should I get tested again?

Hi, I had unprotected sex back in March and got tested in April. From my first encounter the time from March to April was approximately 30 days, however my second partner that I engaged unprotected sex with was 16 days. This was penetrative vaginal sex, and I was the receiver. I have extreme ocd and anxiety so I’m contemplating of getting tested again to relieve some anxiety. I’ve been losing sleep over this, and can barely function. The test that was used was a HIV 1/2 antigen and antibody test. My doctor told me to relax and not to worry because she was sure that I did not have HIV but I don’t trust the test. I’m only 21 and I feel really stupid for making such a dumb mistake with going unprotected. This is the first time I’ve ever done this to myself, and I always use condoms. Can someone please give me advice?

It is just the second encounter that was not tested at the right time so test now.

I’m really scared to go and get tested again. Because what if it’s positive this time? I’ve been stressing to my doctor, but she keeps telling me it would be unlikely for me to test positive. Also because my partner did not ejaculate into me either. Testing won’t change the result, but it’s there to ease my anxiety because it’s so bad.
" Because what if it’s positive this time? " I have no idea what your test result will be and neither do you, so
you make no sense.
If you have any health risk you should always test. Seek therapy instead of spending so much time worrying uselessly about things that can be resolved with a test.

Well I tested at 30 days and 16 days. It was negative. My fear is because I tested at 16 days it’s too soon so now If I test again it will be positive. But the reason my doctor was saying it would be unlikely because the combination test is able to test early I’m scared.

The thing about anxiety is that you can never test enough to ease it. It's better to address the anxiety. Do you see a therapist or anything? When you say you had unprotected sex, what are you referring to?  Any 4th generation test taken 28 days or beyond is conclusive.  So, the one you took after 30 days is not going to change.

The penetrative vaginal sex that you mentioned  was a risk, so just test again with the same Ag Ab now, or wait 12 weeks and any test will be conclusive. The test was created by scientists so there is no reason for you to doubt it, but if you do then see a therapist because it will waste a lot of your time if you keep worrying for nothing.

So sorry for the confusion. So between April and March. I had sex with two partners. Meaning I got tested in April from those two encounters. One in which I waited 30 days for, and the other in which there were 16 days. These encounters happened in the same month which was March, and April is when I got tested and had a physical.
