HIV Risk

I was having sex with female, i use condom. But condom slips off, i remain unprotected 5-15 second.is there any risk of HIV.

Though it is unlikely that HIV was transmitted from that brief exposure you did have a risk.  So you will need to test. HIV transmission from female to male is about 1 in 10000. The numbers are on your side. It's. Also more likely that she was HIV negative than positive. Also remember there are other stds that are much easier to transmit. I recommend a full std panel just to be safe. As for HIV a duo test at 4 weeks will be a very good indication of your status than follow up at 12 weeks with a basic HIV test. Also their is a treatment called PEP its a 28 day medication that can help prevent HIV infection. Basically if she was HIV positive if you took PEP within 72 hours it will reduce chances infection by 90%. That is just something you can speak with your doctor about.  I don't think you need it though. Just relax and test at the appropriate time
