update, i'm negative (oraquick)
I had only one unprotected oral exposure, nine years ago, my test at 10 wks was neg. I was also assured by folks here, and the Drs, that everything was fine, but now I'm having late stage HIV symptoms. What I recommend to you is to get tested every 3 months and then once a year after that, this is what I wish I had done.
I'm wondering why people never or rarely come back to post their results when it has to do with oral sex..It would be a very good practise..
I guess it would be very helpfull for all of us who worry a lot and maybe even for experts.I don' t know..
I think that deep inside you you trust what xperts or moderators say here about oral but you keep on worrying..
If it makes you feel better I let you know that today I met a friends friend, a gay male who is hiv+ for ten years..
He told me that insertive oral in not the case in real life as his partner never got infected for 6 years and they had unprotected oral very often, even when he was not aware of his hiv+ status (Means higer viral load maybe)..
Also that it is hard for blood to come out of gums due to roal sex movements etc..
The problem is us who find it difficult to believe even with real life examples..
