Born deaf, heard, now hearing is bad ?

When i was born i couldn't hear at all. When i was about 3years old i started to slowly respond to sound , then by 5 i could hear fine, my hearing was very faint at times, i'm a cheerleader and i'm used to loud sounds but they hurt
and i used to wear hearing aids but now i don't , my hearing goes completely out and it happens randomly where i have spells where i can't hear at all. Could i be going deaf again ? I tell my mom but every time i go get checked my hearing is fine and my ears are fine. But how can i get help for them when it doesn't happen constantly ?
helppp !! i'd like to keep my hearing.

Here is from another website:

Some children have hearing loss that truly comes and goes. This may be true of the child with allergies or ear infections. Sometimes the hearing is “normal”. At other times, hearing is impaired by fluid behind the ear drum. In some instances, if the ear drum ruptures, the hearing loss may continue for some time.

Often children in this category are overlooked. The thinking is that they do have “normal” hearing. Although they do have normal hearing at times, other times they truly have difficulty.

_______

So, do you think there is any connection to ear infections?

I'd see if you can talk to a specialist about the sporadic nature of the problem.  You should be able to get better answers than just "Well, it's OK today, so you must be OK."
