Hearing loss after shooting

I'm a 19 year old male that went shooting the other day. Being a stubborn 19 year old I didn't wear ear protection. I shot a .380 handgun for 5 rounds and a 9 mm handgun for 5 rounds. After I got done my ears were ringing like crazy. I couldn't hear a thing. It's been 4 days since I've shot the guns and my hearing is significantly better but I still have this annoying ringing in bit of my ears. I'm not so much worried about if I lost some hearing more than I am with this ringing in the ear. Does this last forever? Is there anything I can do to help it?

Im not expert but i have a hearing loss and ill so my best to help the best i can. So your right you don't have to worry about your hearing, you have the luxury of losing it and not have any definite loss. One possible example i can think of that you have is tinnitus. It is a ringing in the ears and can be permeant depend on how loud the experience was.  So you shooting a 9 mm handgun  would be louder than the 380 handgun. If this is the first time shoot it should  that you should be ok
