TINNITES high frequency ringing anyone?

does anyone else have this very annoying high pitch ringing that never stops?
what have you done for any relief?

I have had it for 12 years or so.  I have adjusted to it but it took a few years in my case.  In my case, it faded into the background about 10 years ago - but then came back with a vengeance 3 years ago when my air-bags deployed.    You might try "tinnitus retraining therapy" - where "TRT" trained audiologists give you a "hearing aid" like device which makes either white or pink noise for a number of hours a day.  This has reportedly helped some people  to adjust quicker.  

I realize how hard it is to just "ignore" the sounds - but - believe me - they will fade into the background.  You may always be able to hear them if you try - but your brain will eventually ignore them -- more and more over time.   and - "TRT" may speed up that process.  best wishes. rik...

I suggest you see an ENT, tinnitus may indicate a hearing loss.

I used a white noise machine to mask it.  I am cured now (see my Journal entry).
