Fish oil after angioplasty of one stent

My friend's age is 34 years. He has gone through the procedure of angioplasty about six months ago. So I want to know that fish oil (cod liver oil) is good for him or not?

If it is good for anybody, it will also be good for him.

Fish oil contains a lot of omega3 fatty acids, that are probably beneficial in treating hypertriglyceridemia.
Fish oil supplement studies have failed to support claims of preventing heart attacks or strokes
