For years I've always had this feeling of my heart like stopping, and loosing my breathe. Sometimes I feel like I even black out, like I can't remember anything that happens. It over the years I've noticed it getting more often. Then about a week ago, I was sitting on the couch and I had this feeling of my chest like sinking in, and my body felt like it was involuntarily relaxed and I couldn't move and I could breathe in and I felt my chest/heart like just feel like it was sinking in and I was like fighting to keep my head held up. It done it three times, then stopped and I could breathe and I've got to where i check my pulse after it happens and I could barely find it it was like it was so slow/low that it was nearly stopped. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or what it could be? Should I get it more checked into? If anyone has had this happen would you care to tell me what, if you know, could he the cause or what it is? If I had to guess at about how long it's been doing it I would say about 7 years(I'm 19 now). It used to only do it probably 5 times a year then over the years morely here the past two years nearly three years I've noticed it about once every other month or three months, then these past recent months I've noticed it doing it a few times a month. Since June I've noticed it doing it probably about every week some times twice a week or even twice a day sometimes. Nothing I do triggers it(that I know of) even laying in bed it does it, walking it does it, eating, drinking anything I do it will do it. And idk if it could be related but only on my left side my fingers twitch, and I get sharp pains in my fingers some days, but it's only on my left side. and my arms tend to go to sleep a lot more easier then they normally would. I had an ekg(I think is what it's called) a few years ago and it was normal. I can't predict when it will happen it just happens but I definitely know it when it does. I don't know if the twitching and the deal with my arms could have anything to do with, or from it. Just thought I would add that just in case. I need some advice on what it could be or if anyone has had it happened before. I don't know where to begin to start seeing a specialist and I just want to know if it's even that important first. So please let me know if it's happened to anyone else before, if you know what it is or causes it please let me know. Thanks in advance.
