that s only for use of vit d3 doses above 10.000iu daily, like for d3 40.000iu daily for months
stef: how about calcium total too ? it's cheap test
intact pth to confrim sufficiency and vitd25oh for deficiency, it is best to always run both tests for a clear picture of deficiency/suficiency
Hi,
I went to the lab asking if they can check for D3 level. Could you please let me know which test I need to go for in the Lab for D vitamin deficiancy test?
D3 by Now Foods is good brand, you may start from 5000 IU. I dont know other brands. Add also magnesium malate or citrate, many people is deficient especially if you drink a lot of coffee like me :) It's d3 cofactor.
Do not expect HbsAg decline on those supplements, now only interferon can do this and antivirals occasionally, but decent d3 level is important for overall health and many diseases prevention.
Hi Stef,
I found the below links and was planning to order D3, K2-mk7 and Selenium tablets.
Please suggest me what is the dose I can take and when I can take daily?
As I told earliar, I am not on any antiviral as I have undetected viral load and HBeAg negative, HBeAb positive with HBsAg count 5209.
I hope these will not have any side effects. Thanks.

If you don't live near equator or you don't work outside the building all day you are probably deficient. If you want you may do vid d 25(oh) test plus intact PTH, it's good to know the baseline, but if you want to save money you may also do this test after month or two of supplementation.
Hi Sorte,
Thanks for your advice.Do I need to go for any d3 deficiany tests or others before I start talking these supplements?
Vit d3 for sure, almost everyone is deficient, especially people with chronic infections. It's good to add k2mk7 to d3, it helps with calcium transport, d3 increases calcium absorbtion.
Selenium and zinc was also found to boost immune system but do not use too much cuz it may be immunosuppresive in high doses.
Some people used nigel sativa (black seed) tabs, it detoxifies the liver and it's immunomodulator too, you may test it if you want.
It's hard to decrease HBsAg count without interferon but since your immune system has control over infection it may go down slowly until seroconversion. Now you have 1-2% chance each year since you are inactive carrier. Keep monitoring it once 6 or 12 months to see what's the tendence, now you can say nothing with just one number.
