ast/alt mean nothing as you can see in the forum, the choice to take antivirals and interferon is yours not only of the doctors, you must cure hbv and not liver disease, the goal is hbv cure not giving money to drug makers for life or cure only liver disease
you just need a very expert doctor to clear hbv thats what you should go for and i d say 1% of doctors worldwide has knowledge to cure hbv, like i did it is much better to find a doctor and research not just a doctor for this or wait for gilead drug and replicor to be on the market in 5-10 years time
doc said that everything is normal .. thanks for the advice stef , the thing is that my doctors are not ready to put me on medicines or anti viral inlucding interferon and other drugs discussed in this forum. in the meantime i am taking homeopathy to keep my ALT and AST under control. what should i do in this situation ? i know that the virus will not be killed if i dont take anti virals but than my specalists say that they cant put me on anti virals as my liver is ok

your liver has no damage, values lower than 6kpa are no relevant fibrosis
that kpg may be a KPA

no afp is not a tumor marker anymore because most liver cancer patients have normal afp and most with no cancers have elevated afp, US every 6 months is the best since real tumor markers available are not used for the costs of tests
