Ok so 11 wks ago I made a stupid mistake and had brief sex and oral sex protected with a csw ..
5 days later I had a burning feeling on the top of my penis went to gum clinic and tested me for all stds..
Burning remained for a couple of days then went ...
Weeks follow up gum clinic tested for all stds all negative so far but wait here's the annoying thing I live in the UK and herphes is not screened here unless requested for and it gets worse at week 6 they did do it but it was igm test which I see is useless...
Week 7 or so started seeing papercuts and feeling back pain and and funny pains in left leg...
Pains comes and goes plus papercuts nearly still remain at week 11 would just like to add I had coldsore as a child!! I'm totally freaked out as I am married!! I was really drunk on a stag in Scotland thought I can remember seeing some type of scab on lower back/hip area!!! I have seen several std doc and go and none think it's herphes they think it's all in my head because I'm extremely stressed out over my nightmare
Could anyone guide me to a clinic in UK to where I can get type specific igg done

Still waiting on swab results but yesterday I noticed 3 red spots nearly look like bug bites on the shaft just below head of penis and they are sore I can't get to the clinic until Friday will I get another pcr done how good will that be if let's say they are (herphes related) and are healing would the test still pick it up please please help

The igg hsv2 tests are very sensitive. At 16 weeks those tests are conclusive.  Yes the parts tests are very accurate and if this is hsv it will pick it up. I am very confident you do not have hsv. Your tests are negative and hsv would not linger on the skin this long. Also your exposure was protected and you are not going to contract hsv on any areas covered by the condom.

Hi brother I hear you.  I am on the same boat as I cheated sb with an escort.  I am on the 2nd week only and having flu symtoms. But 16 weeks igg is pretty conclusive.  You can search in google so you can move on and probably pray for me...

I'm living a nightmare this last 4 months suicide have come into my head so many times I've had to go to counselling because of all this!! I love my wife and kids so much it's no hard but I haven't had one day since I've felt normal from pains and I have these cuts too which will not go away I've been to doctor after doctor!! Hope you'll be OK... my is everything in the end

Ok I'm going to book appointment this week if the cuts are still present is there a good chance the pcr will pick it up in need to put an end to this!! What's the chances of the 16 week igg blood test not picking antibodies up let's say if the cuts where due to herphes and sorry for all these questions I just need some feed back thanks for replying

Hi its me again still in bother I'm after getting igg test 16 week after incounter no change in negative result I've have a normal culture swab on cuts and a penile pcr which the doctor didn't do correctly but when I questioned him about it here said it would still detect herphes.. I still have cuts onot my head of penis,pain in back and left leg I'm going crazy at this stage should I go back and get another pcr done feelingundone please help me

Protected sex is a risk for herpes, syphilis  and since your married you should test for these at the correct window period for her protection before exposing her. Swabs are only good for showing a positive as can miss it on the suface so if a negative swab comes up it doesnot mean negative.
1. herpes 3 months
2. syphilis 6 weeks

Hi I hadon't a 11 week 3 day igg test done for hsv and it came put with a 0.5 the head doctor at a pristine clinc is confident that I don't have it!! I have these cuts going on  nearly 6 weeks now nearly I only received protected oral sex plus I do myself have cold sore on my lip 3 weeks after episode

Thanks for your input.. last question b4 i get my swab results next week.. I'm going away with my wife this weekend so it will be the first time I'll have to have sex with her and I'm dreading it!! Worst case scenario I do have hsv2 on the penis head if I wear a condom on the full way is that ok protection wise??

Ok. Lets break this down. The sore on her bum/ lower back area is not a common place for hsv but it is for pimples, boils..etc. There is absolutely nothing she can do to infect the condom. Hsv and other std's are not spread in this manner at all. You can read that bull online but every expert I have spoken to (and these are some of the most renowned std experts in the world) all agree this doesn't happen. Now forget hsv1 as well. That would be like winning the lottery odds. Terri Warren has said that in her 33 years practicing as a herpes specialist.  She has seen this one time. Hsv is not a super contagious infection and your condom covered sex was really quite safe.

No need to leave me alone. This is what we are here for. As far as your Dr telling you to have sex with your wife. I would say the same. I know in your situation that sounds crazy but I think there is no way you caught any std from this exposure!! It doesn't matter how she took the condom out of the wrapper or put it on you for that matter. The fact it was covered means no std including herpes penetrated the condom. You have a very very very small chance of contracting hsv around your pubic area. Again this is a total long shot. If that did happen your symptoms would be in that area and not on the penis.
I really think you should believe in your testing and after this swab come out negative then put this all behind you.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear I'm all over the place at the moment.. I can't remember seeing her take the condom out of the wrapper!! She also seemed to have a scab on her top part of bum lower back that I do remember could it be possible that she could have infected the condom b4 hand?? Also spoke to doctor today in clinic and he said he is confident at hsv2 but he thinks the papercuts on head of penis  could be hsv1 and that I could have herphes but I thought once you had it orally it would be impossible to have it in your genitals there for I'm at a lost cause!!

I agree with your Dr on your hsv2 not changing to positive. I would say you do not have hsv2. What did they say about the paper cuts on the penis head?. You seem to be under a great deal of stress and that will cause plenty of leg and back pain.
What does the clinic say about your symptoms?
Did they ever swab the cuts?

I thought that once you had oral type 1 that you could not get it on your genitals? I'm getting swab done tomorrow!! Do you think there's a good chance of finding out by that way I should have done this week's ago but the 2 doctors that looked at the paper cuts didn't think anything of them one even said to go home and have unprotected intercourse with your wife!! Which till this day I've since slept with my wife!! I didn't see the girl take the condom out of the wrapper because I've my drinking state I simply can't remember!! But as much as I remember the condom was on for all of the time!! Thanks for replying to me if you could answer these few questions I'll leave you alone

Hi feelingundone got results back for hsv 1/2.. hsv1 didn't get numbers but he said it was positive and numbers were high..
Hsv 2 was 0.5 remember this was done in london 11 weeks 3 days after exposure he said he's confident that it won't change but I'm not sure because I still was paper cuts on head of penis 4-5 weeks now only got 3 hours sleep with the pain it comes and goes nearly always there I'm stressed out of this world he seems to think that I have herphes and that I have type 1 but remember I did get a cold sore 3 weeks after exposure and one years ago still getting pains in left leg and sore back!! Please some feed back feelingundone I'm so worried

Yes an igg test is what you want. I deal with people having the exact same symptoms all the time. They always have two things in common.  First they deeply regret the exposure they had and are full of fear and anxiety. Second thing they have in common is not having hsv or any other STD.
At twelve weeks your test will be conclusive. Good luck and keep me posted.

If I didn't have these other smytoms I wouldn't feel so bad.. since I first started to feel them I haven't had a day without them... I have so far being able to abstain from having sex with my wife but I won't be able to for much longer we always use protection... just one more reply I don't want to be taking up your time

Honestly my thoughts are there is no way you got hsv from this exposure!! Honestly I wouldn't say it if I wasn't 100% confident. Your anxiety is your only enemy here. Everyone you have gone to including the professor agrees. I unfortunately can't help with a clinic. Could the professor help in that area?
Listen, your not a monster just a guy who made a mistake. Forgive your drunkin encounter and move on. Don't mistake your fesr and regret with medical consequences.  They aren't the same. Hsv is not a super contagious infection and your exposure was really no risk.

I have been following you for the last couple of weeks feelingundone are you a doctor or patient?? You seem to great knowledge of it!! I've even gone to a professor and paid a lot of money and she dismissed herphes she seen the papercuts too I was surprised and should have really got her to swab them maybe!!! I start from the start without going into to much detail about incounter....
I received oral for about 5 mins then tried to have intercourse from her bending over and failed to get an erection (I had drank a lot of drink plus it wasn't my wife) I stupidity remember kissing her once on her lower back that's when I spotted the scab type blister and stopped immediately... she then proceeded oral again and that was that then I checked the condom and it was 100% ... I suppose I've self diagnosed myself I've lost nearly 2 stone and haven't been sleeping life was so great b4 my stupid mistake I forgot to and I have a little boy that's nearly two yes old so it's breaking my heart!!! What's for thoughts on my sore penis/papercuts/sore back somethings/ nerve pain in mainly left leg/plus some times sore bum cheeks??

First none of your symptoms suggest hsv at all. You would have most likely had an outbreak 3-5 days after exposure. The burning you experienced is not a symptom or outbreak.  You can not get hsv on anything covered by a condom. So you would've had to contract it somewhere else like the pubic area and thats far more rare than contracting it on the penis.
  Listen your odds are 1 in a 1000 for unprotected sex with a known positive partner. You combine that stat with your protected exposure. Then throw in no outbreak 3-14 days after your encounter. What you end up with is all the evidence and it's a lot, says your absolutely fine.

Igg was navitive for hsv 2 after 11 week the guy at the clinic said he is confident it won't turn positive but I'm still in pain with these little paper cuts on head of penis it's nearly 4-5 weeks now only get 3 hrs sleep last night with it I'm so stressed out as I said I haven't felt right after exposure!! He thinks I could have hsv type 1 but how could this be if I'm already positive and he said that the reading was high on the igg test for that one!!!
