HSV 1

I am HSV 1 positive and I am male 33. Will I transmitt HSV 1 to my wife and will that affect her pregnancy? Please reply

Is the person you kissed not your wife?

Either way, it does not matter. As your wife has HSV1, you are at risk of infection if you do not already have HSV1. Even if you are infected, again as your wife has HSV1, there is no risk to her or the baby.

In general though, I think you are simply stressing over very little, or simply regretting very much!

Hi. I reqd ur message n I really need ur help I m having doubt whether im having hsv 1. Though I will get my test results in couple of days. My question is do u ever felt burning sensation around ur mouth n nose like when u put after shave lotion on skin it gives a burning sensation in the begining. Coz im having thos feeling sometimes n its been a month after exposure n I hv not shown ne symptoms except of groin gland swelling.  I will wait for your reply.  Thankyou.

I believe from previous posts your wife already has HSV1 and hence this offers wonderful protection to both her and the baby.

If you are concerned about transmission then perhaps avoid oral sex, but this is all that would be practical.
