Herpes 2 transmission

I was at a party and went to scoop some ice cream. It wouldn’t come off the spoon, so i used my fork to scrape it off the spoon. I forgot i had usd the fork to take a bite of something previously. I put the spoon back into the ice cream to get a little more, then realized my mistake. I replaced the spoon. I am positive for Hsv2, negative for Hsv1. No sores on mouth. Worried about passing herpes to someone through possible saliva this way. Should i notify the partygoers they could have been exposed?

This a no risk situation. None. Zero. If you have HSV2 genitally, you would not be contagious orally.

I don’t think I have ever had an hsv2 outbreak orally, but I am not absolutely sure. If I ever have had one, would that make a difference in the risk in this fork to spoon to ice cream scenario? Or would it still be zero? Nothing on mouth when incident occurred. Thank you.
