Hsv question

Please I am so confused and need real advice...

If I have hsv 2, Is my saliva contagious, end of?

So if I have hsv2 outbreak facially not in or on my mouth...is my spit/saliva contagious?

I'm so worried having had a positive visual test from a GP that I can't kiss or give oral sex because my spit is now contagious even though its not on my lips or mouth.

So confused how it works.

Please help, this is a genuine question.
