Oh it changed my post. It was type 1 igg of <.9 not 5
I definitely will post them.
Sorry I meant when I wrote igg of 5 originally (in my first post) that was a typo. My results from that test were:
Type 1 igg of 5
well even the best blood tests can miss hsv1 1 out of every 10 times. if you had a hsv1 igg of 5 originally and now it's negative, odds are you really do have it and the most recent test didn't pick up on it. ( clear as mud eh? )
not having symptoms of hsv2 is meaningless as far as risk to a partner actually. the virus sheds as much whether you have 0 ob's a year or 10. The free herpes handbook we recommend in our read before posting post has terrific info for more reading too.
when you get your newest results, post them here again and I can help you with what to do next.
Sorry, I was waiting until I saw the Dr to post anything else. Also, as a side note I tested negative for type 1 with an igg of <.9 I don't know why I had 5 originally.
So today the doctor said that since I haven't had symptoms the chances of me passing it to anyone else are incredibly minimal without anitvirals (not a license to do whatever, just giving me info). He also thought it was a bit strange that I had tested negative to the type I know I was exposed to.
He refused to do the biokit or western blot, and just reran the blood test.
