Did i acquire herpes? What are my chances of being infected?

I slept with a girl on a friday a week back. I have known her for 3-4 months and met her a couple of times before casually. Long story short, we ended up in her bed kissing and with me giving her oral both cunnilingus and analingus. Before she could return the favor, i noticed 2 pimple like bumps on her upperlip right below her left nostril. I immediately freaked out. It appeared from nowhere and she did not realize it until i pointed it out. I was concerned that she had herpes and we stopped the act. We discussed about this and she said that she was clean and does not remember if she was ever checked for herpes. When i drilled her about her past, she confessed to me that she had 4 long term partners previously and was working as a massage girl. I asked her to get checked for herpes. She came back positive for both HSV-1 and HSV-2.

My concern started the last 2 days, I noticed a very small needle poke like boil without any head on my left shoulder with constant tingling and burning sensation. At night the arm was a little tender around the area. The feeling is still the same as of today. I also noticed another similar boil in my right shoulder with same itching and tingling sensation. I would not call it a full blown flu like symptom but the tenderness is similar. I have never had any STIs before, at-least in all my checkups till date, and now i am concerned about this being HSV. The strange thing is it is not in the oral area as i would have expected because that was the only place i was exposed to both the types. Are my symptoms a prodome before an actual full blown outbreak? I am really concerned. How long should i wait before i test? Also how probable is that i would be acquiring both HSV-1 and 2 with this exposure.

be seen and get your symptoms looked at.   would give you a lot of peace of mind if they looked at this and said bug bite/spider bites don't you think?

Not yet. I am so unsure about seeing the dr now. Will it show up in my antibody test so soon? Do i need to wait till the window period. Even if the swab test comes out negative, what would this be.

I have tested every year for all STDs. My last herpes test was 3 yrs back and i was negative for both herpes type. Unfortunately, i don't know what kind of test it was as the county health stopped testing for herpes since then. They test for all other STDs other than herpes unless there is an outbreak. However, i have not had any physical relationship with anyone else till this recent one.

The very small blister one each at both shoulders are hurting like a vaccine shot. That is what is getting me concerned

having ob's on both shoulders isn't typical at all for herpes.  since your contact was kissing and performing oral sex, symptoms wouldn't be down as far as your shoulders either.

have you ever been tested for herpes before this yourself?
