Anyone worried over North Korea stating they wont honer the 1953 peace accords??

Today in life, with just the everyday things that are going on, there is so much to think and worry about. Then come home eat your dinner watch the evening news and bam!!!! Right in the face you hear about a crazy little nut case in North Korea, that says they are not going to honer the 1953, peace accords. They set off a nuclear bomb test and this idiot is willing to start a war.

My big Question is we have 30 to 40 thousand trrops on the DMZ, and if they do try to invade South Korea the men and women of our country there wont stand a chance. So why don't we do something about it? This man needs to be stopped, he could very well sell a nuclear device to the Islamic nuts of the world. Plus we owe to our men and South Korea to put a stop to this idiot. Now before all of you bleeding heart liberals jump all over me think about what this nut is trying to do, start a world war, he even has Russia worried.

So I had my say lets see how much I am going to get beat up, and how many agree. So have at it...peace and love to all...brian

So, don't we have nuclear weapons?

I don't know what we should do but I do know that the third party talks are not working nor is the one on one.  So, maybe we need to use our power as well.  I don't know but they are just crazy in N. Korea and Iran.  I really think that they are looking to take out Isreal but then what do we do?  Not many of these countries seem to ever follow the treaties they sign.  So, we need to come up with a different strategy that actually works.

Clinton talks a good talk but is she getting any backing by the President.  Obama doesn't seem to be all that concerned about it.  He would rather be in Las Vegas making 4 million dollars for the Democratic Party or playing Golf.  This is rather disturbing to me!

Generally economic sanctions worked on North Korea. They have done this before and that usually makes them see reason. I am more concerned if they give any of these weapons to a country connected with the Taliban. They are not open to negotiation. I support Israel but not to the point where we should prioritize them over other countries and I and other Jewish people I know would agree. They are another country and they must fight their own battles. The United States does its share and we do support them as we should but we must put our country first as with any other country. I know people don't agree with everything President Obama does. I don't either. But I'm not so sure if he spends that much time as regards leisure. When George Bush was president people on the other side made the same talk then about him being on vacation all the time when action was needed and I didn't believe that aspect of why they disliked him. People may not like President Obama's actions but I do see direct action every day. Fundraisers and events like that are conducted by every leader of every political party and done to conduct media attention.

I agree with you that I also do not want these weapons to get in the hands of the Taliban; if they haven't already.  I also support Isreal as we should.  We also have to keep our Country safe first.  Isreal can definitely take care of themself if needed.  They definitely have the capability.  It is really up to them to decide what to do but we also need to support them as well.  Maybe not by being involved directly but at least to not condemn them when they stand up for their country.

As far as all of the political parties doing fundraisers; that is fine and all but they are not the President and trying to recover from a recession, threat of war, Nuclear Weapons, and many other issues.  When are country is facing massive amounts of debt and then we watch them raise all this money to give to a political organization; does not make sense no matter what party the money goes to.  I do not see direct action from Obama everyday.  I see little pieces when it seems to be convenient for him or when someone brings it up too often and he has to address it, but as far as him being active; I am going to have to respectfully disagree.  He just does not have the experience to deal with these issues and that was what I was afraid of from the very start.  I am not saying Bush did everything perfectly because that would be a lie.  He caused a lot of trouble as well.  They are all too worried about their backs and not our country.  All:  meaning politician and presidents.  Maybe someday we will actually have a President that wants to do what is best for America, the American people, and our economy.  I guess until the we must wait and see.

Respectfully,

Melissa

As for issues of national security some of the members of the defense department from the Bush administration are part of the Obama administration. And President Obama did insist on military tribunals for the prisoners in Guantanamo and the democrats in the Senate are giving him a hard time about that. People might not agree with all of his stances but he does not ignore the other side nor automatically state and approve (in this matter certainly) what the political party that supported him wanted. As for what's best for America its up to Americans to get involved and speak out. That's always been a part of the democratic process. Because of what is going on and security issues we may not be party to every negotiation on this high a level as regards national security and I cannot say it should be otherwise. Here as elsewhere they have to be a means of checks and balances.

The United States better stand behind Israel no matter what, because if we don't noone will and rather then the British Israel is the best ally we have. I really don't think that Obama has the experience and the will for this problem. These people cannot be reasoned with or talked to action needs to be taken and soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
