How long should I expect to wait to get my testosterone results back?

My blood was drawn to check my testosterone about 10 days ago. Since it was taking so long, I called, and they told me they have not received the results yet. Is it normal to wait this long for results?

Seems long but labs can get backed up  I agree to wait until next Monday and call to make sure they are on their way. Are you thinking it will be low?  Are you having symptoms of something?

I can only tell you that when I get a physical, and I got one during covid, the practice I go to sends it out to a lab and I get my results within a day or two.  It does seem like a long time, but sometimes stuff happens.

This really depends on the lab. Lots of labs are really behind because of covid. If you're in a high covid area, it wouldn't be surprising that they're taking a long time.

If they aren't back by Monday, though, I'd have the doctor's office call to make sure they aren't lost. In normal times, it shouldn't take this long.
