Heel pain still there after Betamethasone injection

Hi,

I am Younes, I'm 34, I used to have heel pain, especially in the morning, after a basketball game or driving it get more intense, I tried anti-inflammatory for some time but it didn't work, then a Betamethasone injection in both heels, it worked very well , and now (2 weeks post injection) I started to feel a very faint pain at the morning (I walk everyday 4 km with very comfortable shoes during those 2 weeks)

Is Betamethasone considered as a short term relief?
do I have a long term solution? (my heel X-ray doesn't really show a severe heel spur, you can't even notice it)

Thanks and regards
