Dysgerminoma

I am a long time survivor of Dysgerminoma. I had the maximum dosage of Radiation Therapy. At the time of my surgery. I was told that I was the 2nd person in the US to be diagnoised with this cancer.

I was 21 and now I am 45.

When I underwent Radiation Therapy, they were so sure that I wasn't going to survive. They gave me Radiation Therapy without using their LED apprion. Which resulted with no more periods and being sterile.

My current events are:

[1]...My teeth are rotting and breaking off like crazy.
[2]...For past several months I have had tiny-RED-cobb webbed (looking) type of blood veins on a major portion on the right side of my right breast. The past week I noticed the same developing on the left side of my left breast.

Any comments would be highly appreciated.

I, have clear cell stage 4, and after 12 cycles of chemo (carbo/taxol) have developed receding gums and dentist won't treat me while on chemo...She suggested I use toothpaste high in fluoride(need prescription) and keep mouth moist all the time.

I don't know about this particular dx but am bumping up this message in case others do.  You have had a very long remission.  I hope you get another very, very long remission!
