Just wondering if anyone on here has had adenomyosis, what did you do about it and were you having heavy bleeding with it? Thank you!

i had adenomyosis - it means there is a benign overgrowth of the uterine lining either w/in or on the uterus (think of it as endometriosis that is on the uterus which is essentially what it is from what i was told)
it can be one cause of heavy bleeding during your cycles
u/s can pick this condition up

Thank you Laney for answering. I have put in a call to my doctor insisting on the MRI, so hopefully, once I get that, I will have some answers.  I have looked up adenomyosis on the internet, so I have some info.  I have just found that personal experience from other women is very helpful!

How are you feeling? The waiting is not so good,is it? But you will be in good hands.  Love your pictures, especially the ocean ones.  I love the ocean - beautiful, no matter where you live.

Take care,
Colleen
