painfull ovulation?

I've been having ovulation that becomes more painfull each month. This past month I had pain in my right side that has decreased but hasn't gone away. The pain is an ache most of the time in my lower right abdomen with hip and lower back ache. It becomes more aggrivated with too much movement, standing, or during intercorse. It is tender to push on, and from time to time the pain is sharp. It is tender all the way up to my rib cage on the same side ...its been about three weeks I've since it started I have had my period and still the pain is there. Could this be a cyst?? I've had cysts before on both sides but this pain is worse than it has been in the past and has lasted much longer.

It does sound like it could be a cyst and this time it hasn't resolved itself and is likely larger than what you experienced before.  Please arrange for a transvaginal ultrasound so you know what you're dealing with.  Let us know how it goes.
