Thanks for coming back and telling us. Wish you the best.
So, I had really long cycles when my thyroid was out of whack and I also had a hormone imbalance. I got a period every 3 to 4 months. Your cycle seems long. You aren't 'skipping' a period' but rather your cycle for two times now has been a significantly longer number of days than you are used to or what is average. This is likely not due to pregnancy unless you had unprotected sex. Since you haven't had a pregnancy test since March, you'll need to test again to be sure. If it is negative, then the doctor should start investigating why your cycles are long. Blood work helps with this. They can see if your thyroid is slow and/or your hormones are not balanced. This tells them their next step which may be birth control pills to normalize you or working on the thyroid issue. PCOS is another possibility but typically you have other symptoms with that such as weight gain, facial hair and lethargy. But again, your doctor should be able to tell you if you have polycystic ovaries. Let us know what happens after your doctor's appointment on Wednesday. good luck
