Annoying boss!!!!

Hi all, still smiling about my positive test and looking forward to my scan next thurs but I'm having an issue with my boss. I work with x ray and asked through occ health if I could not go into the lab for a while( hopefully9 months) said I wasnt ready to talk about my private life as I am way to early and don't want that pity face people give you if things go wrong!!! Please god they won't! He has GIVEN me 4 weeks before he asks again...... Why can't he just say ok and get on with it after all if my husband and me going through this not him and it's none if his concern!!! Sorry for the rant I feel he is just been far too nosey

Thanks for all the advice. I have done everything by the book! Occ health, drs notes etc. this man is the biggest gossip in work . I know this because he discusses issues about other people to me which have nothing to do with me... I feel very uncomfortable about been in a small working environment but very lucky to have a job! I am a very good worker and feel I complete every area of my job description just want to stay away from the x ray for a while. He did say he would leave it alone for 4 weeks so will deal with it again then. Why do some people make life difficult? I was in charge of this very same area and was much more sympathetic to other issues...

I work at a Harley-Davidson dealership, luckily we're a small dealership and dont have many bikes in our showroom (we keep them in our breezeway) but our salesmen are CONSTANTLY starting the bikes inside and the exhaust smell is SOOO strong to me! It stinks and I know it's not healthy. It's super annoying because everyone knows I'm pregnant!!

Lucky me! Even with all my limitations right now at 6 months bc of the fibroids everyone is super nice and understanding. Specially my store manager,  his wife is 4 weeks ahead of me with similar situation. I did wait until 4 months to tell peers,  now I'm showing so it's obvious. But the first person I told and kept it private was him,  bc my job required me to bend and lift over 70lbs plus I worked with hazardous chemicals and gasoline and fumes. He quickly moved me and within a month promoted me (he had been trying to promote me for a while but I didn't want to until now that I have to think about my little turtle's future) good luck to all of us working mothers I know not every employer is this accommodating but I hope they are

put yourself in your boss's position, your employee doesn't want to tell you why she doesn't want to do what she's been doing for some time now, I would think they are just being lazy, it is his concern because he makes sure you get paid, you don't want to have a misunderstanding and get fired so tell your boss and ask him to keep it confidential he will, good luck!
