smoking

I'm 11 weeks pregnant. And just found out I was a little over 2 weeks ago. I'm trying so hard to quit smoking but it's not that easy. Any suggestions on how to quit? I tried doing it cold turkey but it didn't work.

I can understand how your feeeling but 5 a day is WAY better than 20 a day. Your already do so great just let the fear be motivation for you to quit completly. No one but the dr and time can say if baby will be ok but at least your trying there are plenty of women who dont even care and have healthy babies

You want to slowly quit. My friend smoked and her doctor said if you just stop the baby will get withdrawals and die. So just try to slowly cut yourself off:)

I've went from close to a pack a day. To about 5 a day. But it freaks me out because I don't want something to end up being wrong because I couldn't put them down quick enough

Try cutting down. If you smoke 1 in an hour try smoking 1 in 2 hrs and keeping prolonging the time in between until your confident enough to quit completly. Its hard but you can do it.
