Looking for a new brand of diapers...any experience?

Hi everyone,

I know that there have been tons of posts about which diapers everyone prefers, but I figured I'd start a new one since I'm looking for a diaper that will stop a specific problem.  I've been using the **'s wholesale brand of diapers since Braeden was about a month old, and I've been very happy with them...until recently. The past few weeks, Braeden has started pooping only every couple of days, and they're major blowouts. When I change his diaper, poop is ALL the way up his back (to his neck sometimes) and there is NO poop in the front of the diaper at all. Its like its hitting the back of the diaper, bouncing off and spreading up his back. So, I'm looking for a diaper that works well with poopy blowouts. Any suggestions?

Try the huggies (or any brand of diaper) that has the elastic back.  One trick to keeping it from going out of the diaper is to fold that top flap of the back in so it creates a stopper for it.  This will work most of the time. Of course sometimes the blowouts are so bad nothing stops them.  I also use luvs and while they don't have the elastic back I haven't had a huge problem with that even when DS2 went for about 2 months with MAJOR diarrhea several months ago.

Yeah, if it was the fact that the whole diaper was full it wouldn't bother me as much. But there will be literally NOTHING on the front of his diaper, but poop all the way up his back. I really dont' know how he's managing that? It doesn't matter what position he's in either. He could be laying down, sitting upright in his exersaucer, in sitting in his swing...it doesn't matter...

I use the huggies little movers. I use to use the walmart parent's choice, but had the same problem, they would leak at night and when DS had blowouts its horrible. He has had a couple of blow out in the huggies but its not the diapers fault because literally it is so much that the whole diaper is full.

I am liking the new fisher price diapers and I have always lover pampers cruisers but they tend to leak at night.... Huggies and the fisher price ones are the ones I use for night time and cruisers during the day
