Restlessness from steroid injection anyone?

This is crazy! I went to bed at 12:30 last night and literally just laid in bed until 4:30am not tired at all and restless. Finally went to sleep and I woke up at 7:15am, hubby made bfast for me and I thought, okay I will probably be so tired and at least take a nap. Ummm, it's almost noon and I am STILL not tired!! I had a steroid shot yesterday and that's the only thing I can think of. Anyone else deal with this? I have to get another shot tonight and I guess I won't be sleeping again. It's awful because I've been sleeping pretty good lately.

Yes I know what you mean!! You get the shot, then have to sit on it basically. OUCH!! haha
That's good you are not dilated yet! I am somewhere around 1cm-2cm right now, which can be totally normal I suppose but they are being extra cautious since I was 4cm at 32 weeks last pregnancy. It's always better to be on the safe side and stay on bedrest to keep our little ones as safe as possible! Hang in there!

Ya the shots they give me make the area ferl as if its on fire it truly sux lol that and being on bedrest when they give the shot in the behind really sux to ha e it itch then having to sit on the site its just horrible ...... I have only had cramping which was causing funneling and shortened cervix. But I haven't dilated yet that I know of but that could have changed I have been on bedrest since 20 wks and I too have young children but I just keep thinking its for the greater good

Oh wow. Yea, the steroid shot I got yesterday and today is help mature the baby's lungs because I had preterm labor last pregnancy and it started again in this pregnancy. It's burns soooo bad for at least 20 min. for me and then calms down. Hoping I'm not too jittery tonight!
