sleeping on the floor after c section

My husband and I don't share a bed because of my snoring. This has always been okay with me.   I sleep on a matress on the floor in my 13 month olds room and he has the regular bed because he has a bad back and I can't sleep in that bed right now anyways it hurts my back. The problem is I have been bugging him to at least get me a box spring so I'm up off the floor and he keeps saying okay but I never get one. So my c section is tomorrow and when I get home I will be getting up and down off the floor and I don't know if I can handle it. I asked him if I could use his boxspring for a while and he said probably not because it will make it hard for him to watch tv. I'm at a loss and freaking out. I don't know what to do. Taking care of a 13 month old, and a newborn and getting up and down off the floor I don't think I can do it! :(

Thanks :) yeah I don't know if that will happen because I did it when I had my daughter but I didn't get very big with her and I was much more in shape and didn't also have a toddler to chase after. So he thinks I should suck it up now because I did it last time. But my body is wrecked right now I already kknow I can't do it. Everytime I try to talk to him about it he says I'm trying to start a fight...oh well hopefully he will give in at some point.

oh lord. he would have to give up the box spring or the main bed if it was up to me. being that close to the floor is not going to be easy to get up after your csec...he should definitely cooperate.

A csection is a major surgery and he may just have to get over it and either give you his box spring or the normal bed for a few Weeks, men don't always understand but i'm sure he will cooperate after seeing all you go through in the hospital tomorrow. And congrats!
