We moves our son to his own room at about 3 months (he napped in his crib from birth so he was comfortable there) He continued to wake to nurse at night for quite a while after that, but we had a monitor to know when he needed us. Often after my husband would bring him in to me to nurse we would all fall asleep with him in our bed, so we made sure to practice safe cosleeping habits - it worked for us! But every family is different.
I hope my baby starts sleeping through the night after a couple months.. right now he sleeps non stop. He wakes up every few hours but is so easy to put back to sleep.
My daughter stayed til 6 months. Didn't have a problem transitioning
it took a long time for my babies to sleep through the night, but my doctor assured me that healthy babies don't need night feedings after six months. at that point, it is more of a habit for them. so after I started feeding solids during the day, I moved them to their rooms. for about two weeks I would.quietly check on them when they woke.at night. after.that, I let them.cry it out and self.soothe
What that's weird. My baby monitor let's me hear everything, like literally if she moved I can, hear it, her cry, everything, Its weird yours just beeps. I bought mine at Wal-Mart and it was cheap. And no don't get discourage, my baby slept through the night at one month in a half almost two. It just depends on the baby
My oldest slept in our room for a year . He's almost 14 months now and he's slept in his own room since he turned a year old . I have another baby on the way . So it's up to you
My baby is only 9 days old so im guessing it will be a while til he sleeps through the night. I have a baby monitor but i hate it. Instead of hearing the baby it beeps when he makes noise. How am i supposed to know if hes actually crying or if hes just making noise? Maybe i will have to buy a new one.
That's up to you. You can always buy a baby monitor, and I Would suggest when your baby sleeps through the night if you really want your room to yourself, that way you won't go back and, forth all, night. I honestly can't remember at what month I put my daughter in her room but I know I switched her once she wouldn't fit in her bassinet . :o
