Noah is sick again?!?!?

So a lot of you responded to my post about Noah throwing up and having diarrhea for a few days, well good news he got better....for about 2 days. This morning I went in to get him and he was once again covered in diarrhea and he had thrown up all over the place.
We have completely cleaned his crib, I have kept everything germ free since then, do you think he got the bug AGAIN? Or do you think it is something different, could it be food allergies?
Oh my gosh, I just remembered that Joe watched that same kid on thursday (the same one that he played with the day before he got sick last time)
Is this kid the carrier of the bug even though his mom said he isn't sick??? I am so frustrated, I know this is part of being a mommy but I don't think I can clean up anymore diarrhea or puke.

Hey Gina,
                 It stinks for you between Noah being sick and the pg I'm sure with my posts and others it probably scares you. Just know your pg and baby are healthy. Do not ignore your healthi in fear of the baby. Believe me the dr who prescribed you meds would lose his license and go to jail if it was unsafe for the baby. Being pg is not easy believe me. You never know from day to day and there is always something ailing us. But in the end we have our babies in our arms from that moment on all the fear subsides and peace kicks in. Try to rest and put your feet up girl. Enjoy your heat wave lol and enjoy a nice hunk of cheese..LOL. I'm here if you need to talk. Best wishes to you and your baby....

Well, I haven't had much cheese to compare it to but yes, I guess the cheese is pretty darn good lmao. Yes, I have seen the ocean, my family used to go on road trips all the time when I was little so I have been to almost every state.
Noah seems to be feeling fine, this bug is so weird how it comes and goes throughout the day. Luckily I am able to manage the headaches with the meds but I keep forgetting to eat with them so that makes me get sick lol

I know but you need to remember you are not doing it out of addiction you are in pain. I know it's scary I hated taking antibiotics for my utis so I can't imagine a narcotic but if I had to I would take it. It stinks. I hope that you feel better soon. Oh I didn't know you are in the midwest. Is the cheese as good as they say it is? Have you ever seen the ocean? I hope he feels better soon and I hope you do too.

AP- My OB gave me Tylenol 3 with codeine so it is going to the baby, it is a narcotic.
He said it is safe as long as I am not taking it a lot, only to break the headache. It's not that I don't think it is safe for the baby it is just the fact that it is going to the baby in general. I know my doctor wouldn't give it to me if it wasn't safe. I only take it if I am in horrible pain, otherwise I just tough it out.
I am loving the weather, the second I woke up I opened all the windows haha. We have a winter fest going on in downtown Cedarburg today so I think if Noah is acting OK we will walk over to it and enjoy the weather while it lasts, with our Wisconsin weather another snowstorm will hit any day now.

GR- Okay as long as he has something in his system but make sure to give him pedia-lyte. He needs electrodes to stay okay. As for not feeling the baby nah it has nothing to do with the meds. If they had a bad affect on the baby the dr would never have prescribed them to you. I don't feel my baby and I'm almost 17 wks. Every pg is different so don't panic it's normal to not feel them beyond even 20 wks. Sorry about your headaches that stinks. I hope you feel better soon. Let me know what happens. Speaking of heat waves it is 30 degress here...LOL. I wish you the best. I hope Noah feels better soon. Fresh air is exactly what he needs you should air out your house too.

AP- Noah is 2, I am doing ok, still battling these headaches and trying not to take the meds my doctor gave me cause they make me so sleepy. I don't feel the baby move when I am on them and I don't like that. I had to take one today cause the throbbing woke me up from a dead sleep and just wouldn't stop. I am still pretty nauseous in the morning so picking up Noah's mess is really hard for me.
He hasn't been throwing up non stop so it isn't like he isn't keeping anything down. This bug is just so weird, it has come and gone, one minute he feels great and the next he is miserable.  He is eating good right now, just some applesauce and oyster crackers, I am going to take him outside to try and get him some fresh air since it is like a heat wave here lmao it's 45 degrees out!!!
One thing I thought of is that Noah could have caught the bug all over again at the museum yesterday.
mamaofone- It must be the same thing, none of my nieces and nephews have had this bug yet so it is all new to us in this area.

I'm not sure how old noah is but my son when he was 6 mos got a gastro intestinal infection. My pediatrician was in a conference and the dr on call tried to minimize it saying it was the formula etc. I explained my baby can't hold anything down even pedialyte so I brought him on my own to the er and not even a few hrs after we got home he got so sick. So I brought him back to the dr and he finally saw it for himself the baby was not peeing he lost 7 lbs and when he cried no tears and the soft spot was sinking in. I went and brought him to children's hospital and 2 wks he was there. I was told by the team of dr's that my son for the unknown amount of yrs could get a simple 24 hr bug and it could last a wk just from getting the gastro bug. After that whole ordeal I changed dr's etc. So my point is your son is not keeping anything in his system he is probably dehydrated I would take him to the er and not even wait. Call your dr and let them know what you are doing. I hope the lil guy feels better soon. How are you? I was pg with my middle when my son was sick it was a nightmare. Try to get some rest too.

Ethan had the same thing for about a week and week and a half. Diarrhea and throwing up afew times. He would wake up and be sick, the next day it would be gone and then it would come back, it only lasted week-week-half......Its prob. just the bug. everyone i know has came down with it.......Just make sure he is drinking lots!!
