Contractions were at 7mins apart for hours but now 15mins apart?!

Bern having contraction since early this morning. It got to about 7 mins a part by lunch time. But now it's getting farer from each one. 15 to 20 min apart for the last hours, why? Is something wrong??? Help!!!

nope dont be sorry, been there 10 times lol, depending on how tired your feeling or what time it is, just lie on your left side and at least rest your body, or if your rested just get up and potter around and when a contraction comes do pelvic rocks or sway your hips side to side while your having it, if you want more sleep, hop into a warm shower or bath and this may settle them enough for you to get abit more sleep, its better that your body is doing this, your less likely to need to be induced as your body knows what to do, if you do need to be induce you may only need the gel, so although annoying try and put a positive spin on it (hard when sleep deprived I know )  :)

Thanks Stacey. Trying to stay positive. Love to walk more but the painful one leave my hip joints super sore and weak. Can't barely support my weight. Can't nap neither, the contractions keep waking me up every 15 min or so. Back pain is killing me too. I hate being so whiny. Sorry. T_T

I know its hard but dont get too annoyed, take it as a good sign that your body is starting to do everyhting right, it may take a couple more days of these type of contractions, but once it happens it things should settle down into a good pattern pretty quickly and thse contractions will be doing something to your cervix, so its all good :)

Never mind. Getting all excited because it's going 6 min apart. Got dress and it went to 15 mins apart again. So annoy by this roller coaster ride. >_<!!!

the ones that are more apart maybe doing more than the earlier ones, just keep as active as possible, the painful ones are the good ones :) keeping upright and active should encourage these ones to get closer together, thats what you want, if these ones die down, get some rest as it will be early labour and contractions can come and go for a few days :)

But the further apart one are more painful, is that still normal?

Might have been a false labour, try to get as much rest as possible, the real thing is probably just around the corner!!
