when should i star buying baby items???help

When should I start buying baby items?
im 20 weeks and 4days and im having a girl i want to start already i dont have nothing

I'm 21 weeks & 5 days. & I don't have much either , all I have is the crib , the dresser with the changing station , babies bathtub to bathe him in , a couple of bottles & onesies & some shoes .
I kind of want to wait for my baby shower since I'm having 2 . But I'm still going to get some stuff here & there .

I would start now with the big stuff mainly and then work on clothes and everything else . Even if you have a baby shower , you can never have enough baby stuff ! I waited till the last min with my last pregnancy , not a good idea ! And since I'm having another boy this pregnancy , I saved everything from my last from 6 months on . And just bought everything I didn't have before 6 months . (: and once again I waited till the last min to get stuff -.- I just started getting stuff this past week and I'm due next month . I'm 35 weeks today .

I started buying little things here and there when I went to the store.. diapers wipes, onesies etc (:
I waited till after my baby showers to get anything else because I didn't want to get something twice!

I started right after my baby shower which I had around 32 weeks.

You can start buying them when ever you want. Just consider that if u have a babyshower u want to list the items u dont have or want in your registry
