It just means your labor could be longer and youll probably have back pain with it. Lots of hands and knees positions should help with getting him to turn. They can even turn after labor has started, id try to do as many hands and knees or forward facing positions as posible. They want baby to be facing your back, thats where the line up the best for their head to push on your cervix and its less painfull for you. Best of luck, I hope he turns!
I'm due in 3 days my baby has been head down for 12 weeks had a sweep on Friday & been on my hands and knees abit hasn't helped yet :( getting another sweep 2 days after my due date if he hasn't come yet I wish he would hurry up :(
(My baby has his back on my side & is facing my right hip)
Thanks I will certainly keep trying all those excercises :) I just hope he turns on time too!!
When do they do membrane sweeps?
I know im totally excited to meet my baby I wish he'd turn and have no complications so I can meet him soon my membrane sweep is scheduled for tomorrow lets see how it goes!! Goodluck to you too MoniBxx :)
My ob/gyn is the one thats going to do mine I switched doctors my old doctor hadn't even checked If I was dilated and I was already 37weeks so this new doctor I started seeing her at 38weeks right away she checked if I was dilating and suggested the membrane sweep
OK BC I'm already 39w and I was wondering when they do it
Does sunny side up means that the baby will come out face up instead of down? If so, my cousin was born that way and she ended up with black eyes and her forehead was bruised. But other than that she was OK.
@moni my first came that way and it was a really hard labor :( not to scare you but I pushed for over 2 hours.
I bearly turned 39 weeks yesterday and they're going to do mine tomorrow morning maybe they'll do yours soon :)
Aww poor baby.. Was her labor long?
I'm hoping he turns :( my due date is in two days!
Let's all hope for the best :) goodluck to us all!
