Hi there.  Well, it worries when a female (younger or especially older----  don't know your age) is THAT  involved.  I'm married to my husband, love him dearly, depend on him for a lot . . . but am my own person and am fine when he isn't around.  Sure, you may miss them but your reaction is unusual.  Even if you are a teenager, I think that is unusual.

I think you should do two things.  I think first, you need to talk to a professional about this.  If you are of age, find a way to get counseling and if you are not, tell your parents and ask them to set up for you to see a psychologist.  I'm not going to diagnose you here but obviously something  more than love is going on here.

The second thing you should do in my opinion, is  purposely spend some time away from  your boyfriend.  Not a month but space out when you see him and when  you are not, fill your time with friends, your hobbies, work or school.  Become your own person that doesn't NEED so much to be with someone.

The reason why that is really important is because if you spend your lifetime in such a state of NEED, it will drain your partner OR you will make poor choices based on the need rather than putting good thought into it.

So, talk to a psychologist about your emotions you are having and work on building up your own life and I think those two things will help you be happier.  good luck

How old are you?  If you are a teenager I don't think up and down emotions is necessarily unusual.  It is unusual if u want to harm yourself.  Talk to your parents about that or a professional. ASAP.  Best wishes.

You might have attachment issues...remember you need to love but you also need moments ALONE and feel comfortable with yourself ALONE...if you cant be happy alone you have problems with yourself how can then you be happy with someone??...dont tell him this or he'll think you are smothering him...men sometimes are like that...so just tell him you need some space because you cant turn you relationship into an unhealthy dependency...so force yourself to be alone at least a few days 2 or 3 without him so you can reconnect with yourself, if not your basing all your life on him...focus on yourself remember he has to be PART of your life...NOT you WHOLE life, because youll destroy your life and your relationship...ok? take my advice, because this happened to me in a way....and now I am very happy with someone else...remember you have to be a free individual so you can be free with someone else...and that person has to be free too...you can't be with someone if you dont love yourself , respect yourself...Love yourself so you can love him right...and have a normal and steady relationship...were you can both be leaders, not him leading your life nor you leading his...and if you feel so depressed its not him its you....you need to look inside and seek what is wrong? What is it that you feel the need to cry? , talk to a therapist , tell your bf that your sad and depressed but DO NOT TELL HIM that you feel so depressed every time you leave cause depending on who he is He might feel creeped out....good luck and blessings!

You could be depressed but you are going through alot, you have alot on your plate so to speak,It's a tough time you are experiencing, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.Self harm is never the answer, talk to positive people and there is nothing wrong with you at all.Take care.

well if most of the time your really happy you shouldnt feel like that..but since you you probably have abandoment issues ,,you shouldnt do self harm because it will only hurt you not help you ...when he leaves you should start trying to keep your mind busy and you should start feeling better
all the luck!
