Ngu ureaplasma urealyticum

Hi, I am 28 year male and I had unprotected oral search several months ago. 3 weeks after it I was diagnosed with ngu, having ureaplasma urealitycum with quontaty 10/5 (it's been written the same way on the results list). The doctor prescribed me 100 mg of doxycicline twice a day For ten days. I've finnished the treatment and took another std test 3 weeks later. I was still positive For u urealyticum with number 10/3. The doctor said the bacteria isch&sa signifficantly reduced and the second cource of antibiotics should eliminate it. So she gave me Azithromycin 500 mg twice a day for six days. I have finnished the cource two weeks ago but I still have clear discharge from Pennis After urinating. I don't feal any pain or itching. So is it pissible that I still have the bacteria and should I do another test? Thanks in advance.

Hi actually UU is natural to our bodies and only causes issues when they grow out of control. It would appear your UU has cleared up as symptoms would be a white puss discharge not clear. Clear discharge is only mucus and any urethra nfection discharge would appear before urinating not after.

Thanks a lot For the answer.
Two weeks after my question I had another test For uu and It came out negative. So the second cource of antibiotics worked.

But I had sex with my girlfriend six days after my second course of antibiotics.

What are the chances that she was infected by me even though I have finnished the treatment?

When exactly the bacteria dies after the treatment is completed?

Thanks in advance!
