Twitching And STD (any relation)

To:- Vance

I've tested for HIV at 6 wks, 19 wks, 25 wks, 35 wks...came back negative

STD's test at 35 wks & 37 wks..(2 times out of window period)
Chlamydia IgG - negative
HSV 1 - positive (normal in population)
HSV 2 - negative
VDRL/TPHA - negative
HEP A, B, C - negative

Urinalysis for UTI at 19 wks, 25 wks & 37 wks - normal (WBC, bacteria, RBC, pus cells etc).

Question:-

1. I got twitching all over my body since the possible encounter last June 08.
(neck, chest, arm, leg, stomach, genital area between penis & anus).
Is it one of the STD symptoms or anxiety related symptoms??

2. I feel a little bit discomfort in my urethra. It feels like something is keep moving (going out from my penis) but after
checking, i found nothing. This weird feeling will come and go everyday.
Is it also caused by anxiety because all my STD tests & UTI tests were normal??
No burning during urination, no discharge, no pain etc..

i'm geeting tired of this weird feeling.
Any opinion??

Thanks.

I have the same symptoms. Twitching all over the body including penis and pain in the PC muscle area. That part seems to be prostatitis but what about the rest of the body? Its been well over 6 months for me as well and most of the symptoms remain. Could this be HPV? But why would HPV cause this, perhaps herpes? Those seem to have something to do with brain degeneration. Has anyone figured this out?

As usual...my Dr told me that prolonged anxious/stress caused that...
Also from my nicotine withdrawal...6 mnths now without cigar...

I'm still in doubt...Does anxiety can show symptoms for a long term??
it's been almost 1 yr now after my incident...

You don't need testing again.  I promise.  You tested waaaay beyond the time frame you needed to.  You do NOT need more testing.

What you do need probably is some counseling.  Its time to let this go.

i've seen a doctor nearby last saturday...for itching sensation around my genital area..
especially scrotum, inner thigh, buttock area
It's getting worse when i'm sweating or during my sleep (i'm easily sweating during day & nite sleep)..which means the itching will come and go and not consistent....

He said not to worry because it's only fungal infection and prescribed me with oral pill for 10 days (ketoconazole) and cream..

Any opinion on my itching sensation?? is it related to any STDs??

I've shown him my STD test result and he said that i need to get tested in 6 mnths time eventhough my test was 35 & 37 wks past exposure..
I'm starting to confuse and anxious again...   :-O

Just want yo get your opinion.

I'm sorry, but haven't we been over this?  You don't need any more testing, and your twitching is likely a heightened awareness of your genitals and anxiety.

If you haven't yet, you need to get some counseling.  I don't know if you are feeling guilty for something, but guilt does not equal risk.
