STF from sex toy fleshlight?

I have a question about STDs.. I bought a fleshlight from Amazon, after receiving it, opening it washing it with hot water I then used it. However,.. After I was researching online and learned the way mine was packaged it might have been tampered with and was possible missing things, I am a bit scared and wanted to know if this was tampered with, or even used before, can an STD be contracted this way? I used it once and have not since. Thank you in advance..

no company would stay in business long reselling used sex toys. really no reason to think this was a used sex toy in the first place let alone time alone would mean it's not a risk at all for you.  be sure to properly wash it and store it so you don't get bacterial infections from it over time.

Not a common question as compared to other questions but have seen it before. STD's do die once they dry up and probably even before that. Also with the soap and water that would take care of it.

Correct to your last post.

I am not sure if I will even use this "toy" again or if it was even used but if it was infact ever used and if the person that used it even had any sort of std by the time it was shipped etc and received on my end it would have been safe?

Thank you so much for your response I have been so worried...  Is this or something like this a common question you get? So stds die pretty fast outside a living host?

between the amount of time that would've passed if by chance someone had used it previously and your washing it with soap and water, there was absolutely no risk for anything from this.
