you can get a hpv dna test with your next pap and go from there.
Just got back from the doctor and she said the bump is nothing to worry about and has nothing to do with any std its from shaving.
BUT while I was there she reviewed my chart and informed me that when I had a positive pap and colp 4 yrs ago that it was consistant with hpv but I was told then that I didn't have hpv....so I'm pretty upset to hear this. I have had many negative paps since and have never been told of this until now.
correct - insurance will not pay for your partner to receive the vaccine.
it's unfortunate that you were talked out of the shots previously :(
I was actually told when it first came out that because I was already sexually active and could have already been exposed that I wasn't eligible for it and my partner is 30 so they told him he was too old for it
going to be seen is the best course of action. I know it's hard to wait until you are seen but you'll get much better answers then :)
did you and your partner have your gardasil shot series yet?
grace
I forgot to mention that it looks like a mole, but not as dark. It is painful as is the area around it. It its also starting to itch. Its about 2 mm long and 1 mm tall. I'm sorry for freaking out its just I'm 24 in a long term relationship and I am scared. Im so I'm just scaring myself and is just something from shaving, but I am scared its genital warts.
the thing that worries me is that its not hard like an ingrown hair, and its not under the skin it is on the skin. It is dark in color and looks like a mole.
I se no reason to be concerned.
