Herpes 2

Hi I’m feeling servely worried at the moment. A long long time ago. I caught herpes 2 in the genital area. Which has depressed me ever since as sometimes now I get outbreaks but on the crack of my bum at the top on the cheek n3arer to the middle of bum. I’ve had it swapped last week and today the results were positive and have been given what I was given before beginning with A. (Can’t remember name) but I’m so scared. But 2 days ago all the blisters and fluid and puss if you call it that has gone. It’s just pink skin and a little scab. I had sexual intercourse (doggy style) sorry to be so specific. So his penis didn’t actually touch the area at all but his belly or just under may have. I stupidly put a little concealer on it so it didn’t look as pinky. But how I’m so so scared something will come up on him. Please help.

Hi thank you for the response. I’m unsure if you received my comment back. So I’m writing it here too.  My doctor worried me a lot today when I found out it was definitely that, by saying no matter what stage it is. It is contagious. So I’ve been so upset and worried since this morning, well since the intercourse really! I know it didn’t touch his penis as it was on my bum cheek at top so wasn’t near it. But where he’s then basically like laid flat on top of me whilst we were you know it could of touched his belly or anything or something. Even tho I stupidly covered it with concealer/foundation to make it a little less pink. I thought once all blisters and fluid had stopped it would be ok. :(  just pinkish skin with a couple of dry little scabs one has even come off now. ((Healing)) The last thing I need it for him to get it somewhere on his body. I’m really upset and scared.

The doc is wrong as its not always contagious. Its only contagious with an obviois blister or when its shedding, meaning the virus is on the surface without any visible marks but that only happens about 20% of the time with hsv2.
She made me so, so nervous. So Thankyou so much. So if it's just scabs and dry skin and seafrew blisters and fluod has gone. There's more of a chance he won't get any thing come up on his belly or just under neath?? As there is still redish pinkish skin a couple scabs. And all the others have come off. Thankyou for helping me with this.
And what does the shedding look like can I ask please??
I also now looking at pics on the net. Think maybe a tiny bit of it is shedding and the or her part is just a really dry scab all surrounded by pink skin. Should I be worried????
its not spread t the belly as needs moist soft areas to transmit like the mouth and genital area. In almost all cases herpes is spread from those in long time monogomus relationships where one partner is infected.
Shedding is invisiable
Shedding is invisible?  Didn't realise that so thankyou. His you know what definitley didn't touch the area atall. And I've been sleeping with this person for just over a year now.
Nothing has ever come up on him. And this is my first outbreak for a long time. But only time I've had intercourse when still a little scabby on bum cheek.
