CMV

Can CMV be passed by kissing on check or or kitchen utensils (cups, spoons, forks) even if they are clean?

No this would be exceptionally unlikely. Direct access to the body of an infected persons fluid is required.

Infection as a child occurs before/during birth or as a very young child through breastmilk and saliva. Adults if they do not already have it (which isn't many) can be infected sexually.
