Very remote chance, especially with no subsequent symptoms, sore throats etc. But only a throat swab will confirm.
I can't remember it was at hospital. i did tell them oral was only exposure. may have done swab was very nervous ..so with no signs or sypmtoms from that and discharge etc.. It is unlikely i have it?
Well a urine test is no good for this exposure, did you tell your doctor oral sex was the concern? Seek a throat swab if you have concerns.
The joint pain is unrelated I would suggest.
thanks... a urine test and blood test no symptoms in throat
I have some unusual joint pain ,,read that that can happen..it came about way after the 9 days of testing negative for all the stds
Oral sex poses a very low risk of STI/STD infection. HIV was no practical risk and you have eliminated that possibility. Without symptoms in your throat, any bacterial STI is also remote.
If you had a throat swab 9 days after from the throat for gon/chlam then with no further symptoms I'd suggest you are fine. Was this the case?
