syphillis testing

hi i jst wanted some information on syphillis testing and appropriate times for each test, first test is a syphillis test igg/igm by eia how accurate and what period after contact,2nd test vdrl/tpha how accurate and what period after contact,also is a vdrl test same as a tpha test if not what is difference

Yes, that's more than sufficient for conclusive syphilis results.

hi they did a vdrl and a tpha in uk at 12 wks post contact and 20 wks is that enough to be definate also did a igg/igm by eia at 4 weeks

Syphilis tests aren't done by IgG and IgM.

You want either an RPR or a VDRL.  If its positive, make sure they do a confirmatory test.

From what I know is you can test after 6 weeks or if a sore appears which it would. I don't know information about the specific tests.
