Who told you that masturbation is 'nasty'? Is that something your parents or your religious culture taught you? You may not realize it, but 99% of all guys do it, and probably around 80% of all women do it. Young people do it, older folks do it, people in relationships & even married people do it. At one time it was regarded as unhealthy & that only undesirable or mentally deficient people did it, but modern Medicine & Psychology no longer believe that to be the case. In fact, it is the single most-practiced sexual act. In my opinion, there is no reason to stop unless you're doing it so often that it's interfering with your social life or school work or some other aspect of your life. Are you aware that even the Bible does not condemn this? Some people mistakenly believed that Onan was punished by God for spilling his seed on the ground, but this did not even involve masturbation - by the laws of the Israelites at the time, it was his duty to impregnate the wife of his dead brother to keep the family line going, and he was willing to have sex with her, but NOT to father children by  her, so he pulled out to avoid getting her pregnant & that was his sin. If the Bible does not condemn it, why should you or anyone else? So relax - in today's world, masturbation is accepted by almost everyone as normal & both physically & emotionally healthy. In fact, it has now been shown to have many health & psychological benefits for both men & women.
