Please help..suggestions or opinions?

Okay, I have two issues:

First off, I have a white-ish yellow discharge from my vagina that happens on a daily basis and has been going on since before I was even sexually active.  I have had this checked by a doctor and I get regular pap tests and the doctor said that some women have a regular discharge and they just live with it.  Does anyone know anything on this?

Second, I seem to get someone itchy in my vagina, as I said, I get regular pap tests so if I had something wrong wouldn't it show up?  The itch seems to come for about a week mostly after my period and it only seems bad if i scratch/rub and that would make it worse..if I leave it alone it goes.  Is this normal?

Did your Dr check for a yeast and bacterial infection? It could be one or both of these. Also, a woman's hormones fluctuate during their cycle meaning more or less discharge at different times during the month. It could be that your having more discharge right before your period and that's what's causing the itching.
