Dreaming non stop while I sleep

I am a 35 yr old female. My life is very stressful with work, family and financial burden.

I feel tired, sleepy and lack of energy all day long for many years.

I have no problem doozing off. But my problem is that I will have dream non-stop the moment I doozed off. The dreams are usually similar to my daily life, e.g at work, at home and sometimes nightmares. It is so often and so real that I sometimes confused whether it is a dream or happen in real life.

I feel restless eventhough I sleep at least 8 hours a day. I wanted to see a doctor but which specialist should I see?

Thanks for advice

I,m so glad i finally found someone one understands exactly what I'm talking about. I dream from the time i go to sleep until the time I wake until I wake up tired. What's the deal people tell me it's normal . That's Bull!

Any family doctor, can refer you to the right specialist, after listening to your symptoms, feeling, tired, sleepy and lack of energy can be contributed by various disorders, sleep apnea, thyroid, diabetes, adrenal fatigue, etc....

I suggest you visit a family doctor, to perform basic lab test, to rule out anything physical, you may even consult with a pyschiatrist, for an evaluation to rule out depression, stress etc... that can cause those very same symptoms.

But first step with be, to visit a family doctor.

Good luck to you !!
