hypothyerosis

Hello, about 3 years i tak Lthyroxin 125. According to my latest heartbats, and problems, my doctor suggested to stop taking the hormones. After 6 weeks of non taking the pils I loss 5lb.weight, feeling well, enjoing the life again and beeing realy happy. But the bloodtest shows TSH 4,042, fT4 11,73, aTG 308,1 and my doctor suggested to start taking again Lthyroxin 125! I do not understand why the same amount of the hormon, I do not want to get again to problems I had 2months ago. Can you advise please. Thank you, Viera

Maybe you should start the med, back at a lower dose, in case you don't need that much.

After six weeks without meds you are still feeling well?

What's the reference range for your FT4?  Ranges vary lab to lab, so you have to post them with results.

Is that TG (thyroglobulin) or TGab (thyroglobulin antibodies) that's at 308.1?  What's the range on it?
